The stopwatch keeps going even if you close the tab by accident: it remembers when it started and resumes where it should be. Export your laps as a CSV for a spreadsheet when you are done.
Teaching? Our sister site has a classroom timer with a noise meter, student picker and seating charts.
Frequently asked questions
What is the difference between lap and split time?
Lap time is how long that single lap took. Split, shown as the total, is the time from the start to the end of that lap.
What keyboard shortcuts are there?
Space starts and stops, L records a lap, R resets and F toggles full screen.
Is TimerTab free?
Yes. Every clock, timer and alarm is free, with no account and no download. It works in any modern browser on desktop, phone or tablet.
Will it keep time if I switch tabs?
Yes. TimerTab counts from the real clock time instead of counting ticks, so it stays accurate when the tab is in the background and catches up instantly when you come back.
Does it work offline?
Yes. After your first visit the pages are cached on your device, so timers, the stopwatch and alarms keep working without an internet connection.
